In the dimension of Oceania, there are five continents, though one is uninhabited because it is believed to be inhospitable. This continent, known as Acheron, is in the extreme north, and is believed to be a giant sheet of ice. It is attached to the largest continent by a strange icy landbridge.
The largest continent is Shulamith. Very little is known about this one. It is inhabited by humans, but little else is known. Most people in Oceania don't really believe Shulamith exists. They think it a myth. As far as is known, there are no islands on this continent—it is one solid slab of continental rock (unlike the other three inhabited ones). But so very little is known because of its distance and its inaccessibility.
The third continent is also mysterious, but mostly because of its Semidivine protector, Auntriage. This is the cluster of islands (it is on a genuine continental plate, so it is technically a continent) known as Irrerre. Auntriage Lightningtamer, a mysterious millennia-old member of a sect known as Semidivines (each continent except Acheron has a Semidivine stationed on it), is gifted with a rare power known as "history erasing." He is able to cloak anything he wants in a fog of mystery, causing all others to forget details. Thus his own age and rank are unrecorded, and his very existence is often forgotten, except by his mate, Amaya.
The fourth continent is Laurasia, a volatile land often torn apart by war and natural disaster. Volcanoes, tsunamis, pestilence, hurricanes, earthquakes, drought and flooding are among the natural disasters to devastate the continent. Nevertheless, it is a fertile land and its people are usually willing to brave the disasters to stay there, because many crops cannot be grown anywhere else.
Oceania is the smallest of the continents. It is divided into four islands (Tripolis, Mesada, Kurai, and Pantheon). Tripolis is the largest. Kurai is second largest, but its drastic conditions and blackmagics taints have made it uninhabitable. Mesada is small and almost in two islands itself, except for a fragile landbridge known as The Narrow. Pantheon is separated from Kurai by what is known as the Crystal Strait. In addition to these islands, which make up the nation of Oceania, there is another island still on the continental plate and on continental rock, but far enough away to constitute another culture entirely. This is called Jamikka. It is a very very old society.
